HBDNK "Mosor — Sveti Jure" from Žrnovnica takes personal data protection seriously — especially because we work with children. Here we explain in plain words which data we collect, why, and how we keep it safe.
Who is the data controller

What data we collect
The only place we collect personal data is the enrolment application: the child’s name, year of birth and preferred group, and the parent’s name, phone and (optional) e-mail, plus a message if you wish to leave one. We deliberately ask for little — no ID numbers, home address or documents. An application may also arrive via an AI assistant on the parent’s behalf, but only with the parent’s explicit consent; the same rules and the same protection apply.
Why and on what legal basis
We use the data solely to contact you about your child’s enrolment and arrange the first training. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), given by ticking the box on the application, and you may withdraw it at any time. We do not use the data for marketing, we send no newsletters, and we never sell or share it.
Who sees the data and where it is stored
Applications are visible only to authorised club staff in a protected administration system — they are never public. The data is stored on a server in the European Union (Frankfurt), and every change in the system is recorded in an audit log.
How long we keep the data
We keep an application while the enrolment process lasts, and afterwards while the child is a club member, so we can stay in touch with parents. If enrolment does not happen or you withdraw your consent, we delete the data at your request without delay.
Cookies and visit statistics
The public website uses no tracking cookies and no advertising technologies, and does not measure its visitors — no analytics, no profiles, no counting who visited us.
Photographs
The gallery shows photos from trainings, matches and club gatherings. If you would like a photo of your child removed, write to hbdnkmosor.hr@gmail.com and we will remove it without delay.
Your rights
At any time you may request access to your data, its correction or deletion, or withdraw your consent — an e-mail to hbdnkmosor.hr@gmail.com is enough. If you believe we are not handling your data properly, you have the right to complain to the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP, www.azop.hr).
